Jesus said, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. There are two things that stand out in that statement: The first is that the building of the church is a work that Jesus Himself is presently involved in – He has made it His top priority and His personal mission. Secondly, the building of Jesus’ church is a triumphant endeavor. It is thrilling to see the triumph of God as the gospel is proclaimed and people come to Christ and enter into God’s glorious destiny for their lives. Seeing disciples made and churches formed is to be alive and feeling the very heartbeat of the Lord Jesus Christ!
